i was just 'sensored' [rage here]
(hahaha and no i don't mean with electrodes. although.. the IRONY.)
The Impossible Wedding couple has a wedding site with a guest book. A couple days ago I signed it:
HELLA! congratulations you crazy kids.
Which is totally in keeping with my relationship with $Bride, our NorCal community and my personality in general.
Today I get an email from the groom announcing that he has removed my entry because, as I surely noticed from his 'about the groom' section, his family is deeply conservative. I have thus been 'sensored' [sic].
Personally I don't think it's that bad. I'm totally insulted to be censored in general, by someone I barely know, to protect the delicate sensibilites of people I don't know and couldn't care less about. But I'm going to lie down and take it because it's their wedding and shit, and I don't wanna be the bad guy or the perceived bad guy, or in any way rock the boat on This Glorious (Impossible) Day of theirs. Even though I'm making some pretty extreme commitments and sacrifices to be there. And even though she's my friend and I guarantee you 'Hella' is not the worst language we've used.
But anyway I'm livid and someone had to hear about it.
Just because i'm feeling it:
SHIT DAMN FUCK.
ahhh i feel zenner now.

Oh, people and their damn weddings. It's my day! Blah. Yeah, your day to act like a facist and order everyone around. haha.
I hate weddings.
hahah convo w/ jinkies. her fingers are cold, hence the typo's. she's actually brilliant. Five time spelling champion of Longview Elementary.
Jinkies: wow and this is a wedding that you are giong to bother to show up for
After logging in 40 plus hours of bride's maid dress shopping before my sister even picked out a colour for our dresses, I hate weddings with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
i dunno. Even if i did know i wouldn't expect myself to care. Am i antisocial???
Which, to me, smells deeply of "control freak", but since I don't know the fellow, I can't really so for certain.
I have frequently found it fun to go out of my way to annoy people like that. Lately, though, I usually decide they aren't worth my effort. No challenge, and I have better things to do.
